Inner Workings of YouTube

In February 2005, several PayPal employees of the beta-test release resulted from a website known as YouTube. They designed the site to let people to share videos with the rest of the world. In November 2005, Sequoia Capital has invested more than three million dollars in the site, and a month later, YouTube turned up as a full-fledged online destination. It was not long before the website is popular, and in November 2006, Google bought YouTube for $ 1,650,000,000.

As the web site has grown, so has the scope of the video on the website. In the early YouTube videos you might find interesting areas, amazing tricks and funny jokes. You can still find these kind of videos today, but you can also see political discussions, musical performances, video tutorials and unfiltered war videos. In 2007, YouTube members presented with a way to interact with as United States presidential candidates. YouTube has also been the center of several controversies. One of the most publicized controversy is copyright infringement. Popular stars like Oprah Winfrey and Paris Hilton are also logged on YouTube. Some users feel that these rich people and organizations are pressing the average sponsor. They believe that average users videos are competing with people and organizations, the large budgets and extensive resources, and many suspected members of these groups and celebrities are using underhanded methods to ensure that their video clips in the top of multiple video from YouTube get list.
